Kate McDole is a Group Leader at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge, UK. Using mouse embryo as model, Kate's research group studies how mechanical forces can shape complex three-dimensional structures out simple populations cells. We met with to find more about her career, challenges setting up lab during pandemic, and thoughts on mentorship transitioning leader position.
